Golikov Mikhail Sergeevich was born in 1980 in Leningrad.

In 1998 he graduated from the secondary special music school at the St. Petersburg State Conservatory named after N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov in the class of “Choral conducting”.

He graduated from the St. Petersburg State Conservatory named after N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov with specialties: “Choral conducting” (2003, class of Professor S.N. Legkov) and “Opera-symphonic conducting” (2009, class of Professor V.S. Sinaisky).

In 1999, he organized and became the artistic director of the youth chamber choir “Petersburg Voices”, a laureate of international and all-Russian music competitions.

The presentation concert of the International Symphony Orchestra TV BRICS took place in Moscow.

The musical evening opened with an overture written by Murat Kabardokov, People's Artist of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, especially for the TV BRICS orchestra.

Olga Pudova, soloist of the Mariinsky Theatre, Dmitry Yankovsky, soloist of the Helikon Opera, and Maestro Mikhail Golikov, artistic director and chief conductor of the TV BRICS International Symphony Orchestra, performed on stage with the TV BRICS Orchestra.
