The elegance of the academic school, the works of modern composers, unexpected crossovers, the drive of rock culture and the inimitable sound of Russian and foreign hits in author's versions for the symphony orchestra are finding more and more fans every year.

The State Symphony Orchestra of the Leningrad Region was formed in July 2017 by order of the Governor of the Leningrad Region A.Yu. Drozdenko. Mikhail Golikov, People's Artist of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, is the permanent artistic director and chief conductor of the collective.

It is the only one in St. Petersburg and one of the few in Russia specializing in repertoire for children and youth.

For more than 55 years, artists have continuously immersed audiences of all ages in art through music, puppet shows, dramatic performances and literary readings.

The Opera and Choral Festival gathers the best ensembles from St. Petersburg, the Leningrad Region and the Northwestern region every year. Opera productions, programs with orchestra and choral groups and, most importantly, an incredible impression of the combination of choral, symphonic creativity and nature are waiting for you. The Tavrichesky International Symphony Orchestra is a follower of the traditions of the cultural and creative heritage of the orchestra and choir of the Tavrichesky Chapel, which was established by the Interparliamentary Assembly of the CIS member States.

The festival brought together bright stars of the world stage from Russia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan. The Symphony Orchestra of the Caspian Littoral States sounded again under the arches of the Kremlin. Three years ago, the musicians united for the first time under the leadership of the brilliant conductor — maestro Mikhail Golikov. Since then, the orchestra has been a constant symbol of the Caspian seasons.

The Youth Symphony Orchestra was established in March 2023 as part of the Caspian Seasons Classical Art Festival and became attached to the Symphony Orchestra of the Caspian Littoral States. It unites 63 young artists, including students of children's music schools, art schools, as well as students of the M.P. Mussorgsky College of Music and the College of Culture and Arts.
